Owls- Money!

Then, solve this word problem.  Leave a comment that states your answer in a complete sentence.  Feel free to explain how you solved!
Mary has a 5 dollar bill.  She goes to the store and picks out a candy bar that costs $1.28.  She also gets a chocolate milk that costs $2.35.  How much total money does she spend and how much change does she get back?
