Owls- Regrouping

Sometimes when you add, you have to regroup.  Explain what regrouping is and when you have to do it.  Also, explain one strategy you use to show adding with regrouping.

    When you have a problem in math like this you need to regroup.55+15= now you know that 5+5=10 and 10+50=60.Now you add 10+60=70.P.D.G.

    you put the 1 in the tens place and put the other number on top in the ones place.
